I had a call with my team today and, amongst many other things, we were discussing pivoting when things are no longer working and sales strategies.
I have still been operating on my "pre-covid" work hours even though I'm no longer going to my office everyday, but instead working at home while taking care of my kids. I've been realizing lately that it hasn't been working for me. It's been causing me extra stress and I've been having trouble getting my work done on time.
Since I have much better self-awareness now than I used to, I asked myself, "If this isn't working, then why am I doing it? What else can I do?"
So I decided to "pivot" and change when my designated work hours are. I created a new schedule that is much more in alignment with how my life looks right now. It will work out so much better for myself, my family, and my work!
You can do this too! If there is something in your life that isn't working try asking yourself, "Why am I doing this? What can I do differently so it feels better?"
Also in this episode, I talk about sales and how you have to nurture relationships so your potential clients will "know, like, and trust" you before asking them to invest in what you're selling. And you need to offer variety in your advertisements - just posting the same things over and over and over usually will not work!
